Practioner diploma in executive coaching
Last september I announced I was onboarding a program to train as an executive coach and I am excited to share that yesterday I received my Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching with AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching.
This matters deeply to me as it brings credibility, structure, and professional grounding to my coaching practice.
But what I really want to share is what the last six months have asked of me.
Beyond the reading (and the need for a new bookshelf 😉), the podcasts, courses, and practice, what challenged me most was the depth of reflective work this journey required.
Reflective practice did not come naturally to me. Over time, however, it became one of the most transformative part of this journey challenging my focus on results and outcomes, and asking me to trust the process, the relationship, and what is emerging… learning to sit with uncertainty, first in myself to be able to do so with others.
This reinforced something I have sensed for a long time: supporting change is not only about strategies, frameworks, or targets. It is about creating space for clarity, resilience, meaning, and choice for the people carrying the weight of transition.
This journey was not a solo one. I am deeply grateful to my family, my partner and children, my supervisors and mentors, my practice clients, and my cohort peers for the trust and learning we shared.
This feels less like an arrival, and much more like the beginning of a journey continuing to learn, unlearn, and practice coaching as a reflective, ethical, and deeply human craft.
If you are a sustainability or transition leader who feels the need to pause, reflect, and reconnect, I would be delighted to walk alongside you whether online, in your own space or office, on a yoga mat, or walking in the woods, or simply anywhere in Brussels where reflection can breathe.
