International Women Day

On #InternationalWomenDay, I wanted to share a powerful insight from Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez.

The book shows how much of our world, from urban planning to medical research, has historically been designed using data that largely ignores women.

Often not intentionally.
But systemically.

It is a reminder that inequalities are sometimes invisible because they are embedded in the systems we build.

Making the invisible visible is therefore an important step toward change. This especially resonates with me as I develop my coaching practice. Indeed, as coaches we help individuals and organizations surface assumptions, patterns, and dynamics that shape decisions often without us even noticing.

A timely reminder, on International Women’s Day, that building truly inclusive systems starts with seeing what has long remained invisible.
